If someone is only able to shine when you’re around, that means you aren’t igniting their inner light—you’re acting as both their light and yours. This can create an unhealthy dynamic when you are ready to move forward, as your movement may cause their light to dim or go out entirely.
In such cases, your light didn’t empower them to become more of themselves, to grow, or to evolve. Instead, they’ve become dependent on you for their happiness, joy, and fulfillment. This energy imbalance can lead to darkness for both of you, as no one can sustain someone else’s happiness indefinitely. This drains your energyand may eventually dim your own light.
We often look at people’s physical or mental attributes first, but it’s vitally important to start from the spiritual/energetic level when assessing relationships. Aligning with others on a higher energetic plane first ensures that both parties are vibrating at higher states, creating mutual growth instead of energy depletion.
Call to Action: Shine Your Light, but Inspire Others to Shine Too
Take a moment to reflect on the relationships in your life. Are you empowering others to shine their own light, or are they dependent on yours? Be mindful of your energy and who you allow into your space. By nurturing your own light and inspiring others to find theirs, you create a cycle of growth, joy, and fulfillment for everyone.
Reminder: It’s important to inspire others to become their own source of light, not to be their sole source. Keep shining, but encourage others to shine with you! Cheers to our health and healing, Jazz
